John's football team, in their very funky green shirts, last match they won 2-0!!!! WOOHOOOOO! West Lane is the most beautiful place ever! I was freezing my ass off watching their matches, but with all the greenery, fresh air, and boyz running around, it was worth it! (NB: Boyz = Johnny)

Johnny and I in one part of Hyde Park

James, John, Me and Danny. Dark I know, at the British Museum which was absolutely stunning!!!

So I haven't blogged for a long time now... and people have been asking me to update this blog! I haven't really got anything new to say except for the fact that I am now back in Japan, suffering from jetlag, and to top it off, missing my boyfriend madly.
I had the most amazing 7 weeks in England, and contrary to what I thought prior to my visit, the time whooshed past me, and it didn't get boring, not once, and it wasn't difficult either.
Now, I gotta get back into shape (physically and mentally), and graduate in July, and then go on to LIFE LIFE from there.
I am terrified, but much more than that, I am extremely excited about what life has in store for me!

Anyhoo, don't want to get into all that kinda stuff in details on a very public blog, so will just post some pics, of friends, and my boyfriend, who a friend fittingly and so perfectly described as being "full of goodness" hehe. If you wanna see more pics, just go to my photo webpage!!!
Love all of you, and hope everything's going well.

Wow

Heya Everybody!

Wow, it has been exactly a month since I last blogged here - nothing much has changed. Well, besides the fact that the Autumn semester is finally over, and I have completed my 4 stories, 8 essays and exam that I was complaining about to everyone! Sorry for complaining and complaining and complaining and complaining and so forth, esp. to Chris, Yuka, and Aya who had to listen to it every single day!

Anyway, right now, I am in England in Southampton with Johnny! I have been here for a week, and everything is going goooooood. I am trying to cook again, and am playing b-ball - something I haven't done since GCSE! haha. It's been fun so far! Next month, I will be having two auditions/interviews for Uni! EEEEEEK. And soon, I will be seeing Li and Dai, and Ayako which I am looking forward to soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much! Anyway, I will write you guys emails sometime soon, but all my close peeps reads this blog so hopefully you feel like I am updating you!

I really hope that all is good in hopefully Sunny Singapore, and I hope that everyone scattered around the world is Happy and having the time of your life as I am!
Love you all.

Me in a KIMONO

Hello people! I haven't blogged in a while. Hope allll is good!

Today (Jan 15th) I took pictures of me in a Kimono. - It is something that Japanese people do when they turn 20 (during seijin shiki) to kind of commemorate becoming an adult. Strange cause Ive been 20 for 8 months already! haha. But in any case, I went along with the plan because I doubt that I will have the opportunity to wear a kimono again. Also, it was my mum's very beautiful, and very original dark blue based kimono which I absolutely fell in love with when I saw it at my grandma's house. SO I decided to go ahead and take some photos. The photos that were done professionally, I should be getting back in about 2 weeks, and those I will share with my closest peeps! hehe. But here are some that we took with the digital camera!

Tagged: Nicc, this is for YOU!

Hola Everyone... Sorry I haven't been blogging lately, but have been super busy! With the end of school, applying to Unis (sorta), writing cards, hanging with dear friends!, work work! But now, I should be doing school work, but decided to answer to Nicc's Tagggg instead. Didn't know what it meant to be tagged, but seems like I have got to tell u a few weird/random things about meself? I am not sure if all the random things about myself have to be weird.... but I will try to think of something creative to say.... actually, i probably wont come up with much, cause as i type this, i can't think of a single thing! This is stressful Nicc. I wanted to de-stress. haha.

1. i wont copy 'japanese fashion' (e.g. dress over jeans) but i will if anyone other than japanese people are also doing it. - that makes me sound like i am a horrible anti-japanese person, but i'm not. i like being japanese and am proud of it!

2. i could eat hainanese chicken rice everyday for the rest of my life - i dunno if that's weird! i could eat it everyday, every meal... as long as it's the steamed one (not roasted), and it's from lucky plaza or far east

wait, how many things am i supposed to come up with?

3. i can cry watching Lost.

4. i dun really like make up... and i think on average (without shows) i will wear it only 10 days in one year.

5. it has taken me like 20 mins to come up with 5 random things about myself. that's weird.

Only One by Marc Harshman. Illustrated by Barbara Garrison

So I began teaching English to children about a month ago, early November... And I am really enjoying it actually. It is draining at times, especially having to tackle uni at the same time, but I am loving it! Anyway, I thought I would share with you, my favourite children's book at this moment! I think it is super deep deep. It is called Only One by Marc Harshman. Unfortunately, I can't show you the illustration by Barbara Garrison but they are great (and they make the stories less sad!)

There may be a million stars,
but there is only one sky.

There may be 50,000 bees,
but there is only one hive.

There may be 500 seeds,
but there is only one pumpkin.

There may be 100 patches,
but there is only one quilt.

There may be 12 eggs,
but there is only one dozen.

There may be 11 cows,
but there is only one herd.

There may be 10 cents,
but there is only one dime.

There may be 9 players,
but there is only one team.

There may be 8 horses,
but there is only one merry-go-round.

There may be 7 peas,
but there is only one pod.

There may be 6 jewels,
but there is only one necklace.

There may be 5 babies,
but there is only one nest.

There may be 4 wheels,
but there is only one wagon.

There may be 3 musicians,
but there is only one trio.

There may be 2 ropes,
but there is only one swing.

But the best thing of all,
is that there is only one me
and there is only one you!

More Pictures from our night out with Chris!!!
