Singapore 02.08.2005 - 18.08.05. My 16 days in Photos. Let me take you on my journey, Part 1
Me eating my first meal after touchdown! Mee Pok Soup! See my smiling face?! My family minus papa arrives in Sing! It felt SO good swimming outdoors a luxury that I took for granted when I lived there... I love ya Mar I am struggling to hold on! Mar with a smiling face!Me and Nic in my favourite pink and purple place... DANCE ARTS Dear old Spiffy ("Stiffy" ahem, sorry D! hehe), chewed my poor one month old sandals on my second day there! It's okay, I forgive thee...!
Come to Japan... Friends who haven't made it here yet :)
The food? It's not as expensive as people say... if you know where to go and eat :)
The trains? Yes, it's crowded, but not if you avoid the rush hours. Other than the crowd? the quality is pretty good, and their timing is impeccable
The scenery? Tokyo can be a little too 'urban'... but if you go out of the city, there is a lot of green. A trip on the shinkansen can also take you to Kyoto, Nara where everything just seems to stop.
The shopping? Fashion is strange and exciting here. I used to focus on the 'strange' and awkward. But this is how people express their individuality in an otherwise group mentality-based society. This is Fashion!
Lastly? I'm still going to be here for a few years and I want to see you all! :) Let's ride rollercoasters in Disneysea and Fuji-Q until we are sick, shop till we drop, and eat like there is no tomorrow!
